For the longest time, I've tried with my son to get him to drink from a bottle. He was plain...NOT INTERESTED!!
Well the hubby and me went away for the weekend to celebrate our 5 year anninversary (yay us!! Praise God) and guess who learned really quickly that its bottle or starvation!
My mom reports: "He fought me hard with the first try, but by the second time around he was even holding the bottle like he had been doing it all his life!" He's a smart cookie, he probably put two and two together, and realized that mommy milk truck wasn't anywhere to be found and if he didn't drink the bottle he'd be really hungry. (I wonder if he rationalized that way, it would be pretty cool if he did)
At any rate, he's FINALLY drinking from the bottle and I feel just a little more free after this weekend!! Thanks mom...couldn't have done it without you...Thanks Lil man...you have made mommy a bit more happy!!
