Pottying is in full swing, we've even done an outside of our home potty adventure and it was successful. She's communicating now that she needs to "use the toiyet" so thats a great help
We are now experiencing that peak of what is commonly known as the terrible two's. OOOOMG!!
I often ask myself....when is this going to end? Why does EVERYTHING have to be a struggle, why is my two year old daughter what to send me to an assylum? I'm learning that repetition doesn't bother a two year old as much as it bothers an adult!
Here's a sample: "want some milk mommy! want some milk mommy! want some milk mommy, want some milk mommy" Try hearing this first thing in the morning EVERY morning...
Then there are the I 'need' statements. Here is my fav: "I need to not go a sleep mommy!"
...and the all important response to almost all requests: NO! No Mommy, I not do it!
Sometimes she reminds my of that old nursery rhyme "I know a girl, with a little curl right in the middle of her forehead. When she is good, she is VERY VERY good but when she is bad she is HORRID"
I know this is just a phase, and honestly, this is what keeps me from calling the nearest crazy house some days. With that being said, I really think my life would be rather boring without her and her little brother...I wouldn't change a thing... for now (just kidding, I love em!!)
Please pray for us!
