I don't know if I've said this before, but I LOVE to hear preschoolers talk, they have such an interesting take on the world around them. And the way they make sense of things is just incredible.
My daughter is 2 1/2 and she is one of the funniest people I know, so I just wanted to share with you some of the funny things that she says. This is an abbreviated list, simply because there is just SO MANY things, I can't possibly remember them all
1. Daddy was playing 'yummy tummy' and saw the opportunity for some well placed affection
Daddy says: Mimi, give daddy a hug
Mimi says: No daddy, you need to save (shave) yourself
Daddy: So I can't get a hug?
Mimi: No, first save you-self
2. Mimi and Zix are taking a bath together, and daddy put some shampoo on his head. Mimi starts to laugh hysterically.
Daddy asks: What's so funny Mimi?
Mimi: (choking back her laughter) Zix, look so funny!!
Daddy: Why does he look soo funny?
Mimi: His hair...hahahaha, Zix looks like frampa (grampa)!!
3. My sister bought her a toy pony, well a unicorn and she was calling it a horsey. So my sister says to her...
Aunt Roxy: that's not a horsey its a unicorn
Mimi: No! Its a horsey, not a HORNicorn!
Oh Mimi....what will you say next?
